If you’re selling something and want customers to pay you via Venmo, you can absolutely provide them with a payment link. Here’s how to find and share your Venmo.me link:
Step 1: Know Your Venmo Username
- Double-check your Venmo username. That’s the part that follows
https://venmo.com/in your profile. - You can find it in the Venmo app or website — your profile page shows it right under your name.
Step 2: Construct Your Venmo.me Link
Once you know your username (for example, @JaneDoe123 or just JaneDoe123), your link is simply:
https://venmo.com/YourUsernameIf your username begins with an “@”, include it: https://venmo.com/@YourUsername
Examples:
- Username
@JohnSmith→ https://venmo.com/@JohnSmith - Username
John_Smith89→ https://venmo.com/John_Smith89
Step 3: Share the Link with Buyers
- Digital: Text it, email it, send via social media or a QR code.
- In person: Print the link as a QR code and display it on a sign or your table for easy scanning. (Use any free QR code generator, paste your Venmo link, and print.)
Not Seeing Your Username?
- Open the Venmo app, go to your profile.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Set a username — it must be unique.
- Tap Save.
Once it’s saved, your Venmo.me link is activated automatically.
