To accept payments via PayPal in Selling Lane (or anywhere), use your PayPal.Me link — just like Venmo. Here’s how:
1. Check if You Have a PayPal.Me Link
- Go to paypal.me.
- Log in with your PayPal account.
- If you’ve already created one, it will show up as
https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername.
2. If You Don’t Have One Yet
- On paypal.me, click Create Your PayPal.Me Link.
- Choose a custom username (e.g.
SellingLaneAuctions). - You can upload a profile picture — helps customers feel secure.
- Once created, your permanent link is
https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername.
3. Add a Fixed Payment Amount (Optional)
You can pre-fill the amount:
https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername/20That opens a page to send $20 directly. Customers can still adjust the amount unless you lock it on your website.
4. Share the Link on Selling Lane Invoices
- Go to Settings.
- Then Edit Account.
- Navigate to the field Link to Pay.
- Insert the link from PayPal (example:
https://www.paypal.me/YourUsername).
