After-Auction Pending List

What is a Pending List on the Bid Acceptance Portal?

A pending list in Selling Lane Auction Software is a queue of auction items that require action or decision-making. It shows all items that have received bids but haven’t been fully processed yet.

Components of a Pending List

  • Winning Bids: Items with successful highest bids that have not met your reserve price and are waiting for your approval.
  • Losing Items: Items that received bids not close to your reserve — you might reject the bid.
  • Payment Pending: Items sold above reserve or approved by you, but awaiting payment confirmation.

Why Items Appear in Pending

Items typically enter the pending list when:

  • An auction ends and the highest bid needs review
  • Payment verification is required

Actions Available

When dealing with pending items, you can:

  • Accept winning bids
  • Reject problematic bids
  • Call or email the winning bidder if they haven’t paid yet
  • Close out completed transactions individually or in batch actions
